Recipe Options for Arizona Loco Cocoa!
Fruit Smoothie
1) Place
1/4-cup of ice-cold water into a blender.
Pour 1 package/serving of creme flavored cocoa on top of the water.
Place
1/2-cup of cut-up fruit into the blender.
2) Pulse blender control on and off a few times to smooth the
fruit mixture
and thoroughly incorporate the water and cocoa.
3) Add 1/2-cup of ice-cream and 1/2-cup fruit to the mixture.
Blend on
low speed to desired smoothie consistency!
Chocolate Milkshake
1) Place 1/4-cup of
ice-cold water into a blender.
Pour 1 package/serving of chocolate or creme flavored cocoa on top of the water.
Place
1/2-cup of ice-cream into the blender.
2) Pulse blender control on and off a few times to smooth the
ice-cream
and thoroughly incorporate the water and cocoa.
3) Add 1 cup of ice-cream to the mixture.
Blend on low speed to desired
milkshake consistency!
Please note: You can make these recipes “almost” sugarfree by using
a low sugar ice-cream. We recommend using Dreyer’s Carb Benefit ice-cream (Chocolate or Vanilla Bean). This ice-cream
is sweetened with Splenda and has only 3-4 net carbs and 2 grams of sugar per serving. Therefore, the above smoothie would
have approximately 2 grams of sugar per serving and the milkshake would have approximately 6 grams of sugar per serving.
(You must also consider the natural sugars occurring in the fruit you choose).
Cocoa Ice-Cream
Syrup
1) To 1 single serving of chocolate or creme flavored
cocoa (4 TB) add 2 tablespoons
of water.
2) Stir briskly until sauce is smooth.
3) Serve over ice-cream or cake.
(Option: Instead of the
2 tablespoons of water above – try substituting
1 tablespoon of water along with 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon of
alcohol)!
Creme Brulee
Using your choice of recipes for creme brulee
serving 6-8, add 2 servings (8 TB) of any flavor cocoa for some very interesting flavor alternatives. Simply add the cocoa
powder to the cream as you are heating it. Prepare the rest of the recipe as directed.
Cocoa Shooters

1) To 1½ cups of boiling water add 1 envelope unflavored gelatin.
2) Stir
vigorously until gelatin is totally dissolved.
3) Add 1 serving of chocolate or creme flavored cocoa (4 TB) and ½
cup of alcohol.
4) Mix well. Pour into 1-ounce serving cups and chill.
Makes approximately 18 1-ounce servings.
Alcohol
suggestions: Peppermint Schnapps with peppermint cocoa, Bailey’s Caramel Irish Cream with caramel cocoa, Spiced Rum
with chocolate cocoa
Alcohol note: Vodka, Brandy and Whiskey are not recommended for flavor.
Pumpkin
Spice Cocoa Shooters

1) To 1 cup of boiling water add 1 envelope
unflavored gelatin.

3) Add 2 servings of chocolate or creme
flavored cocoa (8 TB) and the following alcohol: 1/2 cup Bailey's Irish Cream, 1/4 cup Goldschlager and 1/4 cup Amaretto.
4) Mix well. Pour into 1-ounce serving cups and chill.
Makes approximately 20 1-ounce servings.
This is
a unique treat that is like nothing you've experienced before!!
Cocoa With a Kick!
1) Pour
¾ cup of water into a blender.
2) Add 1 serving of chocolate or creme flavored cocoa (4 TB).
3) Pour ¼
cup alcohol on top of the cocoa.
4) Pulse blender to mix ingredients. Blend on medium speed until smooth.
5)
Pour into a chilled glass and serve.
Alcohol suggestions: Mango Liqueur with vanilla cocoa, Bailey’s Mint
Irish Cream with chocolate mint cocoa, Di Saronno Amaretto with root beer cocoa.
Alcohol note: Vodka, Brandy and Whiskey
are not recommended for flavor.
Cocoa Coffee Flavoring
Add 1 tablespoon
of any flavor cocoa to your coffee for a flavor sensation.
Cocoa Oatmeal Flavoring
Shake up
your breakfast experience by adding 1-2 tablespoons of
any flavor cocoa to a single serving of oatmeal.
Cocoa
as a Milk Substitute
(My Mom's breakfast choice!)
Make up any crème flavored cocoa and
chill.
Pour over cold cereal instead of plain milk!
Cocoa Ice-Cream Topping
Sprinkle
1 tablespoon of any flavor cocoa mix over a serving
of ice-cream for a crunchy flavored topping.
Cocoa
Energy Additive
(A favorite at the gym!)
Add 1 serving of any flavor cocoa mix (4 TB) to a powdered
energy drink.
Blend per energy drink instructions.
